Minnesota Short-Term Rehab programs were developed in direct response to shorter hospital stays. In the past, patients stayed at the hospital until they were well enough to go home without needing assistance. Today, because hospital stays are more expensive, insurance companies are not paying for stays that are any longer than medically necessary. Thus many people aren't well enough to return home after their discharge.


Crest View Lutheran Home Crest View Senior Communities provides the therapies necessary for recovery and rehabilitation through a full range of health care services, as well as, meets the health care, social, and spiritual needs of short term and long term residents. Skilled nursing services, a therapeutic recreation/life enrichment program and three meals a day are included. There is a specialized transitional care/short term stay area.
